About Us

Our Story

Rinea Blanchard started Superior Contract Cleaning in March of 1999 to take care of her children after her husband passed away in a car accident.

She had worked for a local building supply company in Lafayette and picked up many connections with contractors whom she had decided to provide additional value to through her experience and the company’s services.

Superior Contract Cleaning had been growing as an LLC for 5 years and was later changed to an S Corp. in December 2004.

Our primary focus was residential fire and water damage cleanup and residential and commercial construction cleanup, as well as coatings on concrete slabs and commercial floor finishes.

Our Team

Superior Contract Cleaning is led by our team. Without them, we wouldn’t be anywhere near what we are today:

Jessica Guidry, Mitigation Manager. She has received the IICRC’s highest certification of Triple Master Designation
Lori Funderburk, administration assistant
Kyle Babineaux, IICRC-certified water damage technician
Terry Menard, IICRC-certified water damage technician
John Hebert, floor specialist
Ashley Broussard, janitorial team lead
Amber Forrestier, janitorial manager
Ronald Arceneaux, cleaning technician

We made INC’s top 5000 fastest-growing companies list in the nation in:

2021, ranking #1202/5000, #1 in state and #5 nationally in environmental services.
2022, ranking #12 state, #198 national for business services, and #2108/5000 overall.

We also made the Financial Times The Americas Fastest Growing Companies 2022 list, ranking #176 out of 500 companies from both North and South America.

Our other notable achievements:

In 2016, we were able to help over 65 households recover from flood waters after Louisiana’s statewide 1000-year-flood.
In 2018, we traveled to Puerto Rico to help over 100 households recover from Hurricane Maria.
In 2018, we were also able to travel to North Carolina to help the mayor and his family members, as well as many others in the small community of Surf City and other areas near Wilmington.

We are also certified drone pilots, and we hold a lot of other certifications.
